Privacy Policy

Old Kid Media, LLC (“Old Kid Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Pennsylvania, United States company, provides the Red Ball Tap mobile game (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App or contact us about it.

Summary

Red Ball Tap does not require an account and does not collect or transmit personal information, gameplay information, or device information to Old Kid Media. The App does not contain advertising, analytics, or third-party software development kits. Game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message and use it as described below.

Information Handled by the App

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

  • game progress and the highest score achieved for each level;

  • unlocked levels and earned achievements;

  • whether certain in-game tutorials have been viewed; and

  • your music preference.

This information is used only to provide game functionality, remember your progress, and preserve your preference. It is not transmitted to Old Kid Media or shared by the App with third parties.

The App does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers, or other sensitive device permissions. It does not offer accounts, purchases, or online multiplayer features.

Device Backup and Transfer

Android may include the App’s locally stored information in a device backup or transfer it to another device, depending on your Android and Google account settings. These backup and transfer services are provided by Google and are governed by Google’s privacy practices. Old Kid Media does not receive or have access to this backup information.

You can manage device backups through your Android or Google account settings.

Google Play Information

When you obtain or use the App through Google Play, Google may process information under its own privacy policy. Google may also make aggregated statistics and diagnostic reports available to Old Kid Media through Google Play Console, such as install counts, device or Android-version summaries, and crash information.

Old Kid Media uses information made available through Google Play Console only to maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the App. We do not use it for advertising or user profiling, and we do not sell it.

Information You Send to Us

If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information only to:

  • respond to your inquiry;

  • maintain support records;

  • prevent fraud, spam, misuse, or security incidents; and

  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not currently use support correspondence for advertising or marketing.

Our email is hosted through Google Workspace, which processes email information on our behalf. We do not otherwise share support correspondence except when disclosure is required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Data Security

The App’s game information is kept in Android’s private application storage and is not transmitted to Old Kid Media. Our Google Workspace account is protected by access controls, a strong password, and multi-factor authentication. Access is limited to the solo developer operating Old Kid Media.

No security measure is perfect, but we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle.

Retention and Deletion

Locally stored game progress remains on your device until you clear it through the App, clear the App’s storage through Android settings, or uninstall the App. Clearing progress within the App resets game-progress information; clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App removes the App’s locally stored copy of both progress and preferences.

Android backup copies may remain in Google’s backup systems according to your Google account settings and Google’s retention practices. Old Kid Media cannot access or directly delete those backups.

We retain support correspondence for up to two years, unless a longer period is required by law or is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; address fraud, abuse, or security issues; or comply with a legal obligation. You may request earlier deletion by emailing us at the address below. We will honor valid requests unless continued retention is required or permitted for one of these reasons.

Google determines retention for information it processes through Google Play, device backup, and Google services under its own policies and controls.

Children’s Privacy

Red Ball Tap is intended for a general audience age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has sent personal information to our support address, we will promptly delete it unless retention is required by law. A parent or guardian may contact us using the information below.

Your Choices

You may:

  • reset game progress using the control provided in the App;

  • clear all locally stored App information through Android’s app-storage settings;

  • uninstall the App;

  • manage Android backup through your device or Google account settings; and

  • request access to or deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.

Because the App does not create user accounts or transmit locally stored game information to Old Kid Media, we cannot identify, access, or delete that local information remotely.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. You may contact us to exercise a right or ask a privacy question.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App or our information practices change. We will post the revised policy at this webpage and update its effective date. When reasonably necessary, we will also provide notice through the App or its Google Play listing. We will obtain consent before using personal information for a materially different purpose when applicable law or Google Play policy requires it.
